The Chinese Choral Society of Rochester (CCSR) will present its 31st Anniversary Celebration Concert on Saturday, May 3, 2014, 7:30 PM at the Fairport High School Auditorium under the direction of their music director David Chin. The concert theme is “Beneath the Moonlight”. The concert program, under the direction of music director David Chin, includes traditional art songs and folk songs performed in Mandarin with English translation. This concert is in collaboration with string ensemble and the Fairport Northside Elementary School Fifth Grade Chorus conducted by Benjamin Proctor. Guest performers include soprano Ai-Ze Wang, Chinese zither Kaihong Liu, pianist Alexander Wong, flutists Yinhao Ye and Xuan Li. Audiences are invited to meet the artists and members of CCSR immediately following the concert.

Ticket donations are $7 for adult and $5 for student or senior. The tickets are available at the door or by calling 585-377-0063. We also welcome generous donors to make financial contributions.
