CCSR 23rd Annual Concert Special Edition
23rd Annual Concert

Wow, what a concert! The 23rd annual concert was held at Penfield High School auditorium in Penfield, New York at 7:30pm, on Saturday, June 10, 2006 under the direction of conductor Pi-Lin Ni and pianist Fang Zhang. With special guests Bass-Baritone Mr. Guenko Gueckev and Mezzo-Soprano Xiu-Ru Liu and Mendon Center Elementary 4th-Grade Chorus. This concert was sponsored by Arts Grant from Arts & Culture Council of Rochester and Wegmans. We were honored to have talented Mr. Guenko Gueckev and his wife Mezzo-Soprano Xiu-Ru Liu this year to celebrate with us at our annual event. And also what a pleasure to have the Mendon Center Elementary 4th-Grade Chorus to perform at our concert. They were absolutely wonderful and entertaining. We'd like to thank the Mendon Center Elementary school, Music Director Margaret Fittipaldi and all the participating student's friends and families for their efforts in making this event a reality. It's been a very rewarding journey for us all at CCSR. We look forward to future co operations and involvements from the greater Rochester communities.

The mission of the choral society is to promote the appreciation of Chinese culture and fellowship in the greater Rochester community through its annual concert performance. We are a non-profit organization. We are fortunate to have the supports and sponsorships from the Rochester communities and we appreciate so much of your help. We welcome donations from individuals and corporations alike. If you would like to support us please contact us either email or call us at 585-377-0063.

Thank you for your support. We enjoyed performing as much as you enjoyed the music. Look forward to seeing you again next year.

We have a winner!
Mr. Jude Sauer, the founder, president, and CEO of LSI Solutions, a Rochester-based company that specializes in noninvasive surgical devices, was the lucky winner of our 23rd annual concert prize drawing. We would like to congratulate him and thank him for his support by coming to our concert. A mp3 player was delivered personally by our president Mr. Paul Yu to Mr. Jude Sauer. Again congratulations and hope to see you next year.
